The IIMs administer the Common Aptitude Test (CAT), a national-level entrance test for post-graduate management programs at various colleges across India. There are three sections in this test:

Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC):

Duration: The CAT Exam lasts 2 hours. Each section is allotted 40 minutes, and candidates cannot switch between sections during the test.

Question Types: The CAT Exam combines multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and non-MCQs. MCQs require candidates to choose the correct answer from the given options, while non-MCQs may require direct answers or filling in numerical values.
